School Council

Hi, we are the school council!

We were elected by our fellow pupils at the start of the school year. We represent the voice of the children at Moston Fields Primary School and raise issues with Mr Peden and the governors.

Keep checking this page to see what we are doing to help improve our school and any events we have planned.

Our Easter Competition

Thank you to all of the children who entered the School Council's Easter competition. There were so many amazing entries and we enjoyed looking at them all. It was very difficult to choose the winners because they were all so good. Below you can see pictures of the winning entries from EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

Children in Need

We wanted the school to raise money for Children in Need so we decided to hold a Pudsey Bear competition and a none uniform day. For the competition children had to design a Pudsey Bear picture. All of the school councillors helped pick the winners. Some of the winning designs can be seen below. Altogether we raised over £300 for Children in Need.

Parent Drop - In

During the Autumn term we had a parent drop - in session. This was when parents were able to come into school to find out more about what is happening in our school. During the session we spoke to parents about our role as a school council, what we have done so far and what we are planning to do. We also told the parents why it is important to have a school council.
