What are we learning about this year?

What are we learning about this year? 1

What are we learning about this half term?

We have had such a fantastically busy start to the term and I am so impressed with how well everyone is settling into our new class. This half term our project is Playlists! We are getting musical looking at lots of different instruments and the sounds they can make. In science we are continuing our project by working scientifically to find out... Can we block sound? 🎼 Why not do some research at home?

Our homework logs are being rolled out and Miss Hatton, Mrs  Marsden and I can't wait to see what you have learnt at home 🏡 don't forget to bring them back every Monday so we can admire the amazing work you have done. ✅

Keep it up 4/5 😃.

What have we been up to?

In computing we have been using the app Qrafter to create our own QR codes. We then created an instrument fact sheet with the QR codes linking to useful websites!

Performing poets! We became performing poets for the day! So impressed with how brave the children were getting involved! There were some amazing ideas 💡

Lets get musical! 🎻🎷🎸🥁🎺🎹.

We had a great day exploring a range of instruments and the different sounds they make. The children were brilliant at describing each sound using some of the key vocab for the topic. 👍
