Welcome to this week's Home Learning. We hope everyone is well and we hope that, following the government guidance, you have managed to see a few more family members and friends than you have done over the last few weeks.
As always, the Home Learning covers the range of subjects that we would have taught in school and we will try to add to these with other links and activities to give some fresh ideas. Also, look out for posts on Class Dojo, where we add links to activities and websites as and when we find them. Please feel free to share what you are up to on Class Dojo.
White Rose Maths are offering two different sets of lessons this week. The first is on fractions (which we have already covered). So, if you follow the link and then click on the alternative planning, it will take you to the videos which match this week's worksheets and answers - which are developing the children's calculation methods.
BBC BITESIZE DAILY LESSONS
Again, the BBC are providing lessons on a range of subjects and their maths lessons can be found by following the link below:
NRICH HOME LEARNING and IXL
If you're looking for something a bit different from videos and worksheets, there is the Nrich website - full of puzzles, problems and games - and the IXL interactive games. The links for both of these sites can be found below:
PE SCHOLAR MATHS CARDS
We would love to see some pictures on Class Dojo of anyone using these active maths cards!
Again, this week, we have a Literacy Shed project, with a short animation as the starting point. The pack has activities and tasks linked to the animation and, as well as the literacy activities, there are opportunities to try out other subjects as well. The link for the animation and a PDF of the pack are below:

FIVER FROM HOME CHALLENGE
This was a challenge that we posted in the half term. If you missed it, it is a great way to get the children practicing their business skills. All you have to do is lend them a fiver (trust me!!!) and, by developing and launching their own business, your child will be able to pay you back and then some!!! As long as they are successful! Everything you need is linked below:
