Dear Parents and Carers,
Access to Home Learning is now being set up. We will be offering two forms of home learning.
1) Home Learning for children or families who are currently self isolating whilst school is still open
Each year group is completing a Basic Skills Home Learning pack that will be available through Class Dojo for printing out and working on at home.
If parents cannot access this on their home devices or do not have a printer we will have some packs printed out at school for pick up. Please ring into school to make arrangements. We may also post out if demand for this is not too big for us to manage. These packs will also be added to the Class Pages on the website.
2) Access to Home Learning for all children in the event of partial or full closure of school
Each year group will create a menu of daily learning activities - that can be completed at home. This will also include access to Times Table Rockstars and other links for learning on sites. This may also include some power points or assessments/worksheets for children to complete. These activities will be available through Class Dojo with some access to printed copies, where needed (please contact school about this, if needed) We will also be recommending a daily read, some mindfulness activities and a reminder to get some exercise which, if cooped up, will be a vital part of the day!
Please note that this work will only be available if we close.
In order to access this learning - ALL PARENTS need to be signed up to Class Dojo. We have sent email requests to parents who had not yet signed up. Please accept this request so that your access can be set up.
Please work with us to ensure that this works as smoothly as possible so that we can keep in touch and continue to provide some access to learning where we can in these unusual times.
Wishing you all well,
