Moston Fields Primary School

Relationships Curriculum

Our Vision

At Moston Fields, we believe Personal, Social & Economic Education (PSE) is an important part of the curriculum which gives children the tools they need in order to become healthy, confident, independent and responsible members of society.

Through our programmes of study, we provide opportunities to learn about personal rights and responsibilities which develop children’s understanding of their own identity and place in the class, the school and in the global community. PSE learning helps to foster tolerant and accepting attitudes amongst children and an environment in our school which enables children to feel safe and happy.

PSE learning opportunities will allow children to develop communication skills and a growth mindset to set and work towards their own goals and begin to see how they might contribute to society in a meaningful way.

PSE teaching will aim to enable your child to understand and respect who they are, to empower them with a voice and to equip them for life and learning in school, and in the wider world.
