• Year 6 Life Skills are up and running!

  Year 6 have begun their Life Skills programme. Life Skills lessons will give our Year 6 children the opportunity to apply the skills and knowledge that they have learned in their English, Numeracy, Citizenship, Science and Geography lessons over their primary life. They will be taking part in a range of Life Skills groups including: Cookery, Gardening, Woodwork, Rights Respecting citizenship, First Aid and Enterprise.

• Good News! We are now a Rights Committed School with a Bronze Award from UNICEF!

  Last week we had the good news from UNICEF that we have been awarded a Bronze award for being Rights Committed at our school. This shows that we have begun our journey to becoming a Rights Respecting school and shows the dedication of our children and staff to this work. We will be telling you more about it at a stall run by School Council and some of our Year 6 Rights Respecting Life Skills group at our Proud to be Me event in the school hall from 2.15-4.15pm. Please come along and sample the gorgeous food brought in by parents from our community and hear about what Rights work we are doing.
