Summer time already!
We're looking forward to an amazing summer term so keep checking this page to see the exciting things we get up to in 3/4.
Here's a quick look at what we're currently working on:
Literacy: The crayons are back! We've been reading The Day the Crayons Came Home by Drew Daywalt and writing neon red's story. How did neon red make it back home? Make sure to ask your child about their story.
Numeracy: We're working hard to practice our times tables and master the quick recall of multiplication facts. Keep practicing!
Topic: We're continuing to develop our geography skills and learn more about cities and rivers.
Year 3 Science: Light
Year 4 Science: Animals including humans.

Welcome back π We're looking forward to another brilliant term this Spring!
Here is just a brief look at what we're currently covering this term.
Literacy: We're using the amazing book, The Watertower, to develop our narrative writing skills.
Numeracy: 3/4 S and 3/4B are currently focusing on time and learning to convert between analogue and digital time, including 24 hour. 3/4M are currently using and applying their fraction skills to solve problems.
Topic: We will be starting our new topic soon all about Rivers! Exploring where famous rivers are situated and why rivers are so important.

Also, ensure you keep checking our class page to look at all the amazing work we are doing and visit Frogplay to complete weekly homework challenges.
Year 3/4 Staff
Only one more day of the school year left....WOW!! We are sad to say goodbye to our lovely Year 4's but we know they will be just as amazing in Year 5!
Also, we had a fantastic transition week with our new 3/4 classes (check out some of our pictures below) and we are super excited for September.
