Maths

Maths in Year 6

Each week, children have 5 Maths lessons and 3 or 4 Arithmetic sessions.

 

Arithmetic sessions are short 20 minutes lessons where children practise calculation skills.

 

During our Maths lessons we will be following the year 6 planning blocks from the White Rose Maths Hub.

 

In Maths this half term the blocks are:

  • Place Value
  • Four Operations
1 4 5 1 3 9 Visitors
  • Search
  • Translate
Our Summer Fair is on Saturday 5th July! Look out for posters around school to find out how you can help and be involved (or drop-in at the school office and put your name down to support).
