Natwest - Money Sense
As part of 'Our Futures' the children participated in a Natwest Money Sense session. Money management is a life skill and although we cover calculation with money in Numeracy, this session allowed the children to problem solve and make decisions based on budgets and spending.
We completed the 'It's Party Time' workshop. The children had to plan a party for a specific child based on their interests.
They were then given a budget of £200 to spend on all the things they would need from venue and entertainment to food and music.
They then presented their party plans to the class and justified all the decisions they had made.
