Primary FOCUS Programme
During their ‘What is a Career?’ workshop, IntoUniversity works with Year 4 students to introduce them to three different careers, through exciting interactive activities.
In Year 5, IntoUniversity introduces students to university – students learn about what you can study, where you can live, and the different clubs and societies you can join at university. Year 5 students also spend the day as university students, exploring a degree subject in detail.
Year 6 students join IntoUniversity for a week-long out of classroom learning experience, becoming university students for a week and studying a degree subject, while thinking about their own future ambitions. Students end the week with their very own graduation day at the University of Manchester.
IntoUniversity also supports Year 6 students with the transition to secondary school.
