Who works in year 5 ?

We have started a new topic called Time Traveller and will be looking at all the different stages of life from pre birth to older adulthood, the children may be asking for pictures of themselves when they were babies as part of an art project. any help would be appreciated. copies are fine to send in as i understand these pictures are precious.

This week I have sent out a list of project based homework which the children can choose from over the next half term. This is an attempt to give the Y5's more creative freedom and self directed learning. 

We have also relaunched reading at home. Your child should have come home with with a new reading book and reading log, please find 10 mins to read with them and ask some questions about the book and leave a comment for me to see.  I personally am offering extra points and prizes for those children who can become regular readers. ( three times per week)

Thanks in advance i know it can be tricky to juggle everything around at times but reading really is important
