• MacMillan Coffee Morning Friday 27th September

  Next week, on Friday 27th September, we will be supporting MacMillan Nurses by hosting a MacMillan Coffee morning. This will take place at 9.10am in the PE Hall. There will be Tea, Coffee and lots of nice cakes to set us up for the morning. We will also hold a Pop-Up Cafe at the end of the school day so if you can't make the morning, pop into the Dining Hall at the end of the school day and we will have refreshments available for you and your children. 

  It will be nice to see you all and also for our school to support this great charity. 

  All cake and biscuit donations gratefully received! 

• Ready, Respectful and Safe in the new School Year!

  It has been a great start to the new school year. This year we will be working hard to build children's independence and readiness for learning at school. As part of this, we are promoting children in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 having the Fab 5 at all times! 

  These are:

  1. Full School Uniform at all times
  2. PE Kit and a bag to keep kit in - bring in each week or for a half term
  3. Book bag or other bag to keep reading book and home reading log safe - bring in everyday and read at least 3x a week to be a Regular Reader
  4. Learning Ready pack - this will be given in school and children will be responsible for having this at all times
  5. Learning Log kit - this will be given at school and has all the things that are needed to complete home learning - bring in each week. 

  Our aim is to make sure that all children are as ready as they can be for their learning everyday! We want them to learn to be responsible for these things themselves so please help them to be ready and give them reminders when they need it!
