PE
PE day:
4C - Monday
4I - Wednesday
On PE days, children should come to school wearing their school PE kit. This consists of black joggers/shorts/leggings, plain red t-shirt, school jumper or cardigan and trainers. No other tracksuit tops or hoodies are permitted. Long hair should be tied up and all jewellery, including earrings, should be removed before coming to school.
Swimming
Swimming lesson:
4I - Thursday
4C - Friday
Please ensure your child brings their swimming kit in every week on the correct day. This must consist of fitted shorts for boys and a swimming costume for girls, and a towel. Children with long hair must wear a swimming hat. Goggles are not allowed unless requested for a medical reason and all jewellery must be removed before the lesson.
Homework Learning
Homework
Homework is given out each Monday and is due in the following Monday. Tasks should be completed in the home learning book your child is given at the start of the year.
Spellings
Spellings are taught through our English lessons each day. Spellings will follow a letter pattern or will be taken from the statutory spelling list for Years 3 and 4.
Reading
Children must read at least three times a week and record this in their Reading Record. Reading records must be brought into school on a Friday to be checked by your child's teacher.
