Email to Parents and Carers sent today. For the letter, see the Newsletters section of website:
Dear Parents and Carers,
First of all, I wish you all a happy and healthy 2021! We are all hoping for a more positive year with (hopefully) a gradual return to a more normal everyday life.
I am sending this email to clarify that we will be open on Tuesday 5th January, after our INSET day tomorrow. There has been many conflicting messages and newspaper headlines over the last week but please be assured that (as it stands) we will be open. Attached below is a letter that explains our position and also seeks to be open about the challenges that we may well face in the coming term.
Please make sure that you read this letter and look out for the updated Parent Handbook that will be sent out to you tomorrow by the end of the day.
We also need you to continue to use the Covid@mostonfields.manchester.sch.uk email address to let us know of any confirmed or possible cases within your family.
One other reminder for the new term is that we will be hoping to use our Safer Parking child signs on Croft Hill Rd on all single and double yellow lines to make it safer for families to cross the road. PLEASE do not try and drive by this area looking for a space - PARK FURTHER AWAY - maybe using the Bluebell Pub Car Park and walk up.
Anyone interested in helping us to do this, please pass on your details by ringing the school number or sending an email to the firstname.lastname@example.org. We will need a rota of volunteers so if you can spare some time at the beginning or end of the day on a regular rota to share the load, please let us know.
