World Book Day Thursday 7th March 2019
World Book Day We will be celebrating World Book Day on Thursday 7th March. A letter was sent home with the details on the last day of half term. Ask at the desk or check the website if you haven’t received one. We will be starting the day with a Booky Breakfast at 8.30am in the hall (start the day with a good read together and a slice of toast!) We will be writing our own 500 word stories and taking part in the BBC competition and we will end the day with a Big Book Swap in the hall after school. Please bring along any old books to swap and get your tickets ready to choose some more! Children can dress up this year – each year group has an author and we are setting the children a challenge of using the author’s books or themes to inspire their dressing up!
